Managing your news / blog is a snap! After admin login just follow these instructions. We recommend that you have two tabs open for editing, so you can see changes quickly.
- The first tab for your admin tools.
- The second tab for your front end website after login.
Manage Your News / Blog
1. From your dashboard, click on NEWS / BLOG.
2. Managing records as follows:
– to put a record in the “trash” (allows you to reactivate it anytime), mouse over the name, then click ‘TRASH’.
– to update a blog, mouse over the name then click ‘EDIT’.
3. To add a new blog, click ‘ADD NEW’ button and:
– fill out the form, minimum of TITLE, DESCRIPTION and EXCERPT. The “excerpt” section will be what displays on your home page, inviting people to click it to read the full story.
– select an optional FEATURED PHOTO on the right side column.
– check an existing CATEGORY, or type a new one and click ENTER on your keyboard to categorize your blog.
– click PUBLISH.
You can also optionally:
a. Set the status to draft, then come back later to finish.
b. Set a future date & time to have it go live.
