Why do you not offer any “payment on completion” terms for contract work?

While we do strive to be very competitive and fair in our pricing and policies, we don’t offer any “payment on completion” terms on any contracts. In order to keep our prices competitive, while also ensuring efficiency in our work, “payment on completion” terms are not offered. The reasoning behind this is based upon the fact that both our team and your team must work together in order to complete each project. This can be anything from needing questions answered, to requiring assets from you to complete our work in a timely manner.

Since delays can happen because of schedule conflicts, or assets / answered not received, or unexpected items that need troubleshooting, or revisions requested, or new additions requested, all of those things will increase the time for our team to complete our services as indicated within our contracts and terms of service. As such payments are due on a schedule per your contract terms, to ensure even if such delays do occur even if it increases our estimated work load (i.e. requesting multiple revisions on same item), it will ensure our development team is paid on time and thus can get projects done much faster for everyone while keeping our costs down.

This policy is in place because it works, ensures the best rates, fastest project completion time, and we have found clients tend to be allot more attentive to project needs, which means faster completion time. The only service providers who work on those types of terms are ones who have complete control over the time frame to completion. Since our websites are custom built solutions and depend so much on your feedback & assets, there is no way to plan a 100% solid completion date without taking the client out of the mix entirely, which would only allow us to offer “Cookie cutter” solutions instead of custom built solutions for all clients, which we feel are vital to standing out online.
